CHESA TOBIAS
ENCHANTING SHAPES OVERLOOKING THE LAKE
ST. MORITZ
Chesa Tobias is a prestigious Engadine-style house just a step away from the centre of St. Moritz. Located on Via dal Bagn, it is a prominent property for the commune, being one of the most photographed houses in St. Moritz. Chesa Tobias also marked Hübeli’s first major project in the Engadine in the early 2000s.
Designed by architect Reto Zehnder, the house was built following the demolition of an old chalet. The multi-level construction, with soft, rounded shapes, captures both the classic Engadine style and the hand of architect Zehnder, giving the house a combination of breathtaking views of Lake St. Moritz and exceptional livability of outdoor spaces.
The sinuous forms of this property accommodate several luxury apartments inside, custom-built following the clients’ wishes. Special attention was also given to the common areas, furnished with antique Engadine-style furnitures and framed prints.
